| Notes | Although the board has 'Jumperless' CPU setup, there's still one jumper to change first, and that's the one for the CMOS. To save battery life before use, it's set to 'Clear', so you'll have to set it to 'normal' before you power up, or the board can appear dead. If you're setting up a new Windows system, disable as many onboard features as you can until Windows has finished setting up. Then enable/install one device at a time so all the drivers can be installed in an orderly fashion, and any conflicts isolated before you have to many devices to sort out. Look out when using 100MHz based CPUs on this board, there is no provision for 66MHz RAM unless you are using a 66MHz based CPU. |
