[ TX5 586/686 Processor Based AT Mainboard With CPU SOFT MENUTM Technology ]
Based on Intel's 430TX chipset,
the TX5 is uniquely designed for file servers, work stations and professional
users. The TX5 has a special CPU heat management function (EISCA)
which monitors the CPU. It includes all of the required specifications
for PC97 such as Ultra DMA/33 IDE interface
and ACPI power management functions. Two 168-pin
DIMM sockets support Synchronous,FP, and EDO DRAM. The TX5 also
implements SOFT MENUTM,
leading technology software that eliminates all jumpers on the mainboard
that set CPU parameters allowing end-users to easily and correctly install
their own CPU upgrades whether it be a Pentium® processor
with MMXTM technology, AMD-K6TM
processor, or Cyrix 6x86MXTM processor.
