The PD5N is one of the best
price/performance Pentium® ½è processor-based all-in-one
mainboards. The PD5N is fully equipped with a SiS 5598
chipset, high performance PCI Rev. 2.1, and all of the
required specifications for PC 97 such as Ultra DMA/33 IDE
interface and ACPI power management functions. The SiS 5598 chipset implements synchronous and asynchronous PCI
operation to support up to a 75MHz bus clock speed for Cyrix processors. Applying advanced
circuit technology, the PD5N requires no extra on-board video display memory. With this
feature, the PD5N does not only save in system cost but also largely increases flexibility
when selecting appropriate display resolution. It is the best choice for Internet,
workstation, and multimedia environments.
