The manual setting of CPU parameters with jumpers and DIP switches is
an anomaly among Pentium® processors and Windows®
95! ABIT presents the world's first CPU Jumperless
mainboard that uses SOFT MENUTM,
a patented software technology to set CPU parameters from within the BIOS
CMOS setup utility. The IT5H includes Intel's 430HX
chipset and three voltage regulators to stabilize
CPU work. It also implements ECC, a DRAM checking algorithm which detects
and corrects memory errors on the fly without user intervention or disruption
of processing.
