Micro Channel Troubleshooting

If you troubleshoot micro channel computers, then you MUST have pcwiz inc's PocketPOST - MCA. This shirt-pocket sized card lets you use PocketPOST and other ISA POST cards to troubleshoot dead PS/2 computers.

Easy to Configure and Use

Just set the ISA POST card to monitor port 80 or 90, then plug it into the edge connector socket on the top edge of PocketPOST-MCA. Then you plug the resulting assembly into a PS/2 or other micro channel computer. PocketPOST-MCA converts the system signals so that the POST card shows Power-On Self-Test (POST) codes during system boot, voltages, and bus signal activity just as it would in a normal ISA computer.

Troubleshoot with the Cover On

The deluxe version of PocketPOST-MCA provides a plug that you attach to the computer's printer port, and LEDs to show POST codes sent to the port in PS/2, Olivetti, and NCR computers. You don't even have to remove the computer's cover to see them! The manual contains POST code tables for PS/2, C&T, and Phoenix BIOS. PocketPOST-MCA is a must for every technician's tool kit!
