The Stylus Photo 870 Special Edition shares the same specification as the Stylus Photo 870 but with a redesigned case, matte lid and appealing silver and midnight blue colour scheme.

Using the latest Photo Reproduction Quality technology incorporating the EPSON Perfect Picture Imaging System, true Photo-Quality performance comes as standard without the need for additional upgrades, while printing on plain paper has been improved even further.

The Stylus Photo 870SE uses a combination of 4pl Ultra Micro Dot, advanced Variable dot technology, PhotoEnhance 4 and 1440dpi printing to produce superb print results on plain paper, coupled with high speed photo printing on specialist media. A newly designed case, combined with exceptionally quiet operation make this printer an ideal desktop companion.

	Supplied with the printer is LivePix 2.1 (Mac version 1.5) a photo-editing package that lets you produce photo-quality projects from a home PC and Photo Reproduction Lab - the perfect tool to turn your home into a Photo Studio.

Flexible connectivity comes as standard allowing a wide choice of platform including Apple Macintosh G3, G4 and iMac, Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0.

The Stylus Photo 870SE includes support for the Universal Serial Bus, fully supported by Microsoft Windows 98 and Apple iMac/G3/G4
